As a South African wedding photographer and videographer team, we chat with so many engaged couples and over our chats, we've had a few questions that come up frequently, so today, we'd like to share some of those questions- and the answers to them.
Where are you based?
We are based in the nation's capital, Pretoria, South Africa, HOWEVER... We will happily go anywhere for a love story or celebration. All wedding packages include 500kms of travel and travel outside of this is charged at a flat rate depending on province. If further than a 90 minute drive from Pretoria, we require 1 night’s accommodation and for venues further than 3 hours drive from Pretoria, we ask that you budget for 2 night’s accommodation for us and our team so that we can arrive with plenty of time to be ready for your wedding day.
Can we meet you before our wedding day?
Definitely! We 100% encourage this, and we offer engagement shoots to give you a chance to get to know us and experience working with us. We really recommend an engagement shoot if you are feeling worried about being in front of the camera, as we find it really helps our couples feel more relaxed with posing and is a great practise run for your wedding day! We can also set up a video call or even meet up in person if you'd like.
Do you help with planning our wedding day/shoot?
Yes, absolutely! For lifestyle shoots we will assist with choosing a location (we will share our location guide with you when planning and help with outfit planning. For weddings, we will send a sample timeline that we can tailor for your day, as well as help with any other advice you would like.
Will you help us pose?
We don't expect our couples to just know what to do in front of the camera, so we are happy to provide guidance and direction. We use lots of movement in our direction to try and keep things natural and fun while telling a story.
When will we receive our photos?
For lifestyle shoots, our turnaround time is 2-3 weeks, with a preview within 48 hours. For weddings, a full gallery will be delivered within 6-8 weeks and a preview within 48 hours.
