There’s just something about this wedding that warms the heart. The genuineness, the friendships, and also, zebras. Yep, you read that right. This wedding at Stable View in Hartbeespoort had all the charm of a South African bushveld celebration wrapped in elegance, colour, and real emotion.


Something for the Guys

Let’s start at the beginning: the day kicked off with the groom and his groomsmen doing clay pigeon shooting right on the property at Stable View. How cool is that? While the guys were out having their moment, the bridal party were getting made up by Esmeralda from Envee who handled both hair and makeup to perfection.

Huge shoutout to the vendors who made this day as stunning and smooth as it was: the amazing team at Stable View, the creative floral magic from Hada Events, and of course Envee for glamming up the bridal party. Each of these vendors brought their A-game, and it showed in every moment.


Details

A special feature aof this beautiful day was all the special touches. From Kean's vintage pocket watch that perfectly complemented his three-piece suit to Arielle's box of all the flowers Kean has ever gotten her and the special way she remembered her mom by having a photo on her bouquet. Their day was all their own. And to top it all off, they had all their wedding day details—shoes, rings, perfume, sentimental items—neatly packed in a box ready for us to photograph. These little things make a big difference in the storytelling (and time-management!)


Bushveld Perfection

The ceremony took place in the gorgeous Stable View Chapel, a charming modern-rustic space with light pouring in and the occasional zebra grazing just outside. The love between Arielle and Kean and their loved ones was so evident and the emotion in the room was palpable.

As a South African based wedding photographer, this venue is an absolute dream. From the natural surroundings to the thoughtful details, there’s something new to discover around every corner- and all within easy walking distance. After the ceremony, we spent some time at canapés and family photos before we headed out for portraits, using the sun-drenched fields and mountains (and yes, the zebras made a cameo in a few shots!) as our backdrop.


Partytime

The reception was held at the same venue and featured colourful florals, dried pampas grass, and fairy lights strung from the rafters. The vibe was festive, bohemian, and oh-so-fun. Future brides, take notes: one of my favourite little touches was how the couple displayed their engagement photos as the seating chart.The entire day felt like a celebration of everything this couple is: relaxed, joyful, and deeply connected. Their energy was infectious and the love from friends and family filled every corner of the venue.
