Nestled in the heart of the Waterberg Bushveld, Die Boer en Die Belg boasts a stunning open field with panoramic views of the Waterberg mountains. The venue features a charming bush chapel under a majestic Marula tree, known as the "marriage tree" in Zulu culture, symbolizing fertility and used in cleansing rituals before marriage . The reception hall is spacious and elegantly designed, accommodating up to 100 guests with oak tables and chairs, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cash bar . The venue's versatility allows for both indoor and outdoor celebrations, ensuring a perfect setting regardless of the weather.


The Couple's Love Story


Meet Anisa and Hannes, a couple whose love for each other is as enchanting as their wedding day. Their journey together began as medicine students at the University of Pretoria and their wedding at Die Boer en Die Belg was a reflection of their shared love for nature and adventure. The day was filled with laughter, tears of joy, and unforgettable moments that captured the essence of their bond.


Capturing the Moments


As their photographers, we had the privilege of witnessing and capturing the raw emotions and intimate moments of their special day. From the bride's radiant smile during the ceremony to the couple's grand entrance to "Stukkie Van der Merwe" (They are now Mr & Mrs Van der Merwe), every frame tells a story of love and happiness. The backdrop of the bushveld added a magical touch to the photographs, with the golden sunset and the gentle rustling of leaves creating a serene atmosphere.


A Sunset to Remember


One of the most memorable moments of the day was the breathtaking sunset. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky was painted in hues of orange and pink, casting a warm glow over the couple and their guests. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day, symbolizing the beginning of their new life together.
